Ultimately, we were impressed by the power, range, comfort, smooth ride, and included features of the 700-Series, not to mention the competitive price. It is perfect for around-town commutes, errand runs, or outdoor adventures. It has performance stats similar to its cousin, the Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser. The Cafe Cruiser has a burlier rear rack with an optional kit to carry a kid (up to 130 lbs) and comes with more stylish and comfortable handlebars. Steel linear pull brakes deliver control plus the lightweight, brush-finished rims are grooved for even better braking performance. The padded saddle is designed for comfort and features an alloy quick-release seat binder to make it simple to adjust the seat height.
Our least favorite part of the 700-Series was the extra time and effort we put into the assembly. This bike comes less assembled than others we’ve tested, and all the additional features take longer to assemble during the initial unboxing. However, this is a one-time task so we wouldn’t base our final purchase decision on this factor. Also, its above-average weight means it doesn’t feel the most nimble, but we found it easily maneuverable in most situations.

to making sure everyone’s tires are in good shape for their next ride. Every tire has a recommended psi printed on its side close to where it touches the rim. This is usually
written as a range (for instance, “90 to 115 psi”) since there are reasons why you’d want to be on the higher or lower
end, which we’ll huffy mountain bike get into shortly. In cosmetically great condition, not tested thoroughly but kickstand works and the wheels don’t seem to have any problem moving. Another way to check your leg extension is to put your foot on the pedal and see if you can lower your heel below the axle of the pedal on the downstroke. If you can push your heel a little further than the axle, that’s often an optimum position in terms of efficiency and comfort.
