The biggest complaint with this bike is that you can’t upgrade much on it. Again, this is not a problem for the beginner, but for a more experienced rider, this will be problematic. Let’s put it this genesis bicycles way – this won’t be the last bike you ever buy. With a new bike, I don’t think the front forks should be squeaking. I wasn’t totally sure if that was just how it was, or if they were actually bad.
It’s very easy for someone who hardly knows how to assemble a bike. But for its relatively narrow 26″ x 2.1″ tires, riding in the mud was a bigger challenge. So we came to the relatively dry, stone-paved forest road single track. After I felt comfortable with it, I aimed for a short uphill at about 50° or so. But I stood on the pedals and pedaled hard, not expecting the forward pedaling to be that strenuous. It was a stalemate for about 30 seconds, and without any incident, I fell off the bike.

I’m honestly not sure if it was just my bike, or if all of these bikes are that way, but it gave just enough, but not too much suspension in the rear. It was sub $200 and offered a lot for the price, as we will talk about here in a moment. The bike also offers a full suspension, which means you genesis bicycles have shocks in the front and rear of the bike. The Genesis Incline is the bike I have the most experience with between the two bicycles, as I ended up with the Schwinn around the time the snow began to fly, and the cold moved in. This bike MTB 26″ x 2.1″ Tires can handle turns more nimbly.
