Suppose you think you may be in a position where you’ll spend several hours in this chair. In that case, it’s probably worth investing in a throw pillow ozark trail canopy or a bit of block foam (have the width cut to taste) and have it upholstered, so you wind up with a custom-fitted seat pad for a bit of added comfort. The seatback has some slightly padded sections that do at least a little something to enhance comfort, and the armrests are nominally padded, too.
The chair also has the round mesh cupholder found on most chairs of this type. Comes with the same compact bag with a shoulder strap for carrying. The wide and deep seat allowed for plenty of shifting around until the perfect position was found and the arm rests gave plenty of support. The chair proved to be comfortable even well into the late evening so an excellent choice for round the campfire. Camping presents some challenges to campers who use a tent.
Keep in mind that lightweight chairs won’t be nearly as comfortable as traditional camping chairs, so take the word comfortable with a grain of salt.
