After 100 miles my rear hub became so loose that it was pretty much un-ride-able. I can hardly feel the bumps of the road, or on the trail. My only concern is not knowing how to replace the pads on my front break, like most models, I have a disc break in front.

On the performance side of the equation, the Van Rysel E-EDR AF Apex is packing some pretty impressive technology. It’s propelled by the Mahle X35 rear hub motor complete with three assistance settings. It keeps riders informed of all ride stats by way of the BC900 GPS computer.

The GV60’s road manners are quite refined, the Performance model’s adaptive suspension and electronic rear locking differential give it handling qualities reminiscent of the Porsche Macan. When cruising, the cabin remains whisper quiet; encounter a stretch of winding road, and the GV60 offers enough athleticism to entertain the driver and enough sure-footedness to inspire confidence. We have no official word when the expected rear-wheel-drive version will appear. Its place in the luxury automobile segment solidified, the ambitious Genesis luxury brand moved into the luxury EV segment with its stylish and quirky GV60 crossover. Introduced for 2023, the GV60 incorporates styling elements found in other Genesis models but makes a statement of its own intent by ditching the brand’s traditional trapezoidal grille. In its place resides a smooth surface with a less prominent grille mounted low across the front bumper.
