Ozark Trail Sun Shelter 8×6

It was the perfect size bag to hold water bottles and a few other important things in it. The bad news is the rain leaks, the “GoBeDry” rain protection system just does not work. I sprayed the tent after the first use (I feel a tent should get a test run without water sealant the first time then if it leaks ozark trail screen house I will spray it with sealant). This tent leaked a little the first time after only one hour of rain. Then after putting sealant on the sides and rain-fly with spray and seam seal stick it still leaked. Lastly after only five times using it the shock cord pole for the rain-fly broke (the cord snapped).

Over a hundred and seventy dollar Ozark Trail tent completely fell apart on me and my daughter. I had to tape the tent together with military issue 100-mile-an-hour tape. Upon taking down the sun shield things started to go sideways.

I can fit six people in with guyer plus the front side zipper pockets are helpful. I got this tent several years ago on short notice and needed in a pinch for a car camping trip. In many places the stitching is missing and in other places it looks like the machine sewing it got stuck in the same place which put a gob of thread ozark trail screen house in one area. Long threads were left hanging all over the inside of the tent. There are also many long threads around the zippers so if you do not cut them off they get stuck in the zipper! It is impossible to get it nice and square so that it is pulled taught so that rain will flow off of it instead of pooling in pockets.

The short pole supplied for that protrusion splintered in two places and poked about four small holes in the black fabric of the laundry bubble. Rather it should have been a large pocket on the inside of the tent that requires no pole at all. The Ozark Trail 8×8 Instant Sun Shade did exactly what we needed it to. It kept us out of the sun when we didn’t want to be in it.

The type of guy that would list hiking as a hobby on his dating profile. While this is amazing for evenings around the camp fire, the day time in the sun can be brutal. I can’t handle a full weekend in this type of condition. So I spent the last year looking for a budget friendly sun shade. Overall the Pelican coolers have sharper edges and a bit more of an industrial feel than the competition. You just angle the ozark trail sleeping bag shelter where you need it, then attach the shade.

They are the sorriest tents I have ever bought. I have exchanged two tents after the first use, even those leaked. ozark trail sun shelter It is a waste of good money to be throwing away on tents. I could have used a bed sheet and stayed drier.
