Over 9,200 Walmart shoppers had nothing but praise the product in their reviews, and complemented its colors. However, customer ratings on both products are drastically different. The highly talked about Stanley brand tumbler caused an internet frenzy, and its dupes are beginning to sell out like crazy. I’ve been attempting to drop weight for the past several years, mostly because my knees can’t handle it.
It’s also BPA-free and has a “no sweat” design, but doesn’t have a slider on the lid. While it cannot be denied that the Yeti Tumbler is a great tumbler for keeping beverages cold or hot for an extended period, it is also hard to deny that it is pricey. As such, you’d rather not use both the tumblers as replacement for your stainless steel insulated water bottle. It is made with stainless steel with vacuum-insulated walls designed for regulating ambient liquid temperature.
This hilly 26-mile segment gains over 2,600 feet of elevation over a contoured landscape crossing brooks, streams, and wetlands, as well as ozark trail chair small savannahs of oak and hickory hardwoods. While Ozark Trail tumblers may not have the immediate brand recognition that Yeti tumblers do, but many consider them to be Yeti’s equal. And while they became popular seemingly overnight, Yeti tumblers have also become the standard by which other tumblers were made. In this case, Yeti products do have a positive reputation for their quality. You can use the lid of the Ozark to seal the Yeti tumbler, and vice versa.
The construction is also BPA-free and features the so-called no-sweat design that keeps the user’s fingers dry. Called “an ideal drinking companion” by Yeti and a product that you can use both at home and around the campsite, the Yeti Rambler 10 oz lowball is yet another great offering from this renowned company. Seeing as not many outdoor enthusiasts actually buy and use these things, my analysis of this (and Ozark Trail’s) lowball will be brief.
The pavement temperature measured 122deg at the four hour mark. The external temperatures on the tumblers read 102.5deg for the Yeti, 105.2deg for the Orca and 104.7deg on the Ozark Trail. The Yeti drained 3 ounces of water, The Orca drained 2 ounces and the Ozark Trail lost 2 ounces. I also took into consideration how cold or hot to the touch each tumbler was when filled with liquid and tipped each one over to see if they would leak. People choose Yeti tumblers and Ozark Trail tumblers because they keep drinks cold or hot for hours. They’re also leakproof making them easy to take with you throughout your day.
Now, to be more competitive with Yeti, they have a wide range of colors and styles. According to The Wall St. Journal, in terms of maintenance, Yeti Tumblers seem to have an upper hand over its competition as the Yeti is dishwasher safe. The two tumblers are also very good in keeping beverage cold.
AND there is now a new smaller version that your kids might like. If you don’t care about brand names and are pretty careful with spills, I would go with the Ozark Trail tumbler. Other than the lid, it works nearly identically to the Yeti tumbler at a much lower price. These tests proved to us that not only do both the Yeti and the Ozark Trail mugs do an incredible job at insulating cold drinks, but they perform nearly identically. After researching products with a cult following at Walmart, I discovered that reviewers swear that this $10 Ozark Trail tumbler works just as well as the Yeti Rambler—at a fraction of the price. We keep a small quantity of other colors/bottles on hand, and can source other colors/sizes for you upon request.
The pavement temperature has fallen to 134.7deg but the external temperature of the tumblers has soared. The Yeti external temperature has risen to 126.5deg, the highest external temperature recorded all day. The Orca records a 123.2deg reading and the Ozark Trail has hit 124.8deg. The Yeti has now drained 16 ounces of water and the remaining ice is turning to slush. The Orca has drained 15 ounces and the Ozark Trail 14 ounces.
Then I placed them on a table and waited for the ice to melt completely. This 32 oz Ozark Trail Tumbler is in my opinion the most versatile of the bunch. One of the main reasons that you are filling a thermos is to enjoy your beverage at the desired temperature over extended periods of time.
The Duracoat coating, the MagSlider lid, and the weight of just 11 ounces all make using Yeti Rambler 20 oz effortless. What is more, this product is also surprisingly easy to clean – even though it’s dishwasher-safe, I just rinse it out by hand. Only two tumblers remain and they both have identical designs. Most of the ice is gone from both tumblers, and it’s pretty slushy. The Yeti has drained 15 total ounces of water and the Ozark Trail just 14 ounces. The vacuum chamber in a double wall vacuum sealed thermos prevents that convection from occurring and greatly increases the duration that your drink remains at the desired temperature.
