After extensively reviewing the data from the travel logger, we found that—drumroll, please—the two tumblers performed exactly the same. I’ll pause for shock value, but there’s no real difference between the two other than the price tag and that the Yeti is dishwasher safe. Putting them side by side, the Yeti and Ozark Trails tumblers look exactly alike. They’re the same size and shape, are made of stainless steel, and have similar sip tops. The only real physical differences are that Yeti has a slider on the lid and they have different logos adorning the cups (obviously).
Then I did the same test with cold water from the same coolers. The tumblers are made from 8.8 food grade stainless steel. If you are looking for more of a traditional Yeti cup ozark trail backpack with a handle, there is the Yeti Rambler Mug. While it cannot be denied that the Yeti Tumbler is a great tumbler for keeping beverages cold or hot for an extended period, it is also hard to deny that it is pricey. As such, you’d rather not use both the tumblers as replacement for your stainless steel insulated water bottle.
I started by filling each cup with 15 ice cubes, set them in my kitchen with the lids on, and started the clock. We’re testing the quality between high-end YETI tumblers vs. the very affordable Ozark Trail brand from Walmart. Really when it comes down to it, all of these tumblers have fantastic reviews and you will love any of them.
It is hand-wash, but I did wash the lid with no problems. There are a few key features that are really important to me and created a good benchmark of which brands to include. They had to be insulated for maximum chill factor (no one likes a warm drink), include a straw or a lid with room to add your own, fit in a cup holder, and be a large size. I did my best to keep the sizes comparable across brands, so each one has a capacity between 24 to 40 ounces.

The only one of that style that I had a hard time with was the SIC.
