The Ozark Trail Gravel Bike is designed for versatile performance on both paved roads and rugged trails. Built with durability and comfort in mind, this bike is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a reliable ride. It seems to be the same quality tumbler as more expensive competitors; you just aren’t paying for the Ozark Trail, Yeti or RTIC name. We wanted to review a generic version to see how it compared to the now-popular Ozark and the legendary Yeti tumblers. Yeti has a generous 5 year warranty, which is longer than I ozark trail chair usually use any tumbler or water bottle anyway. Ozark Trail and Yeti both offer two packs in 20 oz and 30 oz sizes.
The Ozark Trail tumbler won our second ice retention challenge, this time but a wider margin. It held ice in brutal Alabama August heat for 12 hours and 42 minutes. One reason the Ozark Trail tumbler held ice so much longer may be due to the fact that the sun was so low in the sky. For the last hour, the tumbler was not being blasted by direct sunlight anymore. After seeing the previous test story, several folks asked me how these tumblers stack up on a really hot day outdoors.
If you haven’t heard of the brand name Ozark, then you should know that it is a company that specializes in outdoor recreation products. We’re testing the quality between high-end YETI tumblers vs. the very affordable Ozark Trail brand from Walmart. Offers high-quality outdoor equipment at competitive prices, making outdoor adventures accessible to all. The Ozark Trail 10-Person Modified Dome Tent offers a spacious, versatile, and weather-resistant design, perfect for family camping adventures. I love being able to use the dishwasher to be sure it’s clean and for the convenience.
Now, to be more ozark trail canopy competitive with Yeti, they have a wide range of colors and styles. If you are looking for more of a traditional Yeti cup with a handle, there is the Yeti Rambler Mug. Tumblers enable office workers to enjoy their beverages hot and cold. Unfortunately, like most all water bottles and tumblers, they are made in China. Although the Ozark Trail Tumbler is not dishwasher safe, it is very easy to clean by hand washing. Most important – is the popular Stanley Quencher Tumbler spill proof?
This leads to a short time to enjoy the drink or have no way but endure an unfavorable experience. Then I did the same test with cold water from the same coolers. And the rubber gaskets, which make the lid leak-resistant, come out for a deeper clean. Simple Modern offers a robust selection of colors, patterns, and capacity options. The Classic vessel comes in four sizes (16, 20, 24, and 28 ounces) and in dozens of colors and patterns, so you’re bound to find something that matches your style. This sleek, slim tumbler has a smooth powder coating that’s easy to grip, even with wet hands.
The amount of water drained from each tumbler was noted as well as the external temperature of the tumbler and the pavement temperature. No liquid was added to the tumblers as this is strictly an ice retention test. When the ice filled tumblers were placed on black asphalt, in full sun until all of the ice melted. All three tumblers are well-built with a clean design and tight-fitting clear lids. The Orca has a more rounded design with the tightest-fitting lid and is 3 ounces smaller than the others. The 20-ounce Wetoweto Tumbler, the cheapest of all the tumblers we tested, includes two lids and two straws.
This Ozark Trail 30 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Tumbler with Swivel Handle is one of my new favorites! It has a leakproof lid, a carrying handle, and it holds 30oz of liquid! Whether you are going on a field adventure or driving to work, a favorite drink in the morning is indispensable. But the problem I have always encountered is that in the hot summer, the ice cubes in the cold drink quickly dissolve while in the cold winter, the hot coffee quickly cools off.
According to The Wall St. Journal, in terms of maintenance, Yeti Tumblers seem to have an upper hand over its competition as the Yeti is dishwasher safe. The two tumblers are also very good in keeping beverage cold. In fact, when you place the Ozark and the Yeti tumblers next to each other, you would have a hard time figuring out the differences. Of course, neither of these will replace your best insulated water bottle, which can also hold more than water.
The overall product weight of this cooler is 37lbs empty which is inline with the Pelican, but 7lbs heavier than the Ozark Trail cooler. The Tundra Haul features rubber clasps, which I really like, and hard plastic wheels. Like the Ozark Trail 45 Qt Rolling Thermocooler, the Pelican 45QW Elite Wheeled Cooler includes a lid with inch notches and also includes centimeters for those outside of the United States. Similar to the Ozark Trail cooler, the Pelican features orange wheel rims and also has orange clasp accents. You can get this cooler in three colors, Tan which is featured here, as well as graphite and white. The other two colors will have different rims and accents, so if you don’t love the orange you have options.
The Owala’s standard bottle holds 40 ounces and costs $37.99, making it cheaper than the 40 oz Stanley tumbler’s $45 price point. Another advantage is that the Owala tumbler is lighter than the Stanley, and considering how heavy a bottle can get when it’s filled with liquid, every ounce counts. Specifically, the Stanley is 1.4 lbs (635 grams), and the slightly lighter Owala is 1.28 lbs (581 grams). And while carrying your lighter Owala, you’ll be happy to know the lid is spill-resistant, unlike the Stanley, making it an even more portable option. Better yet, the Owala tumbler is lead-free, while the Stanley is not, making the Owala slightly safer. While it cannot be denied that the Yeti Tumbler is a great tumbler for keeping beverages cold or hot for an extended period, it is also hard to deny that it is pricey.
