I trusted them with my safety and in their suggestions for activities and lunch options during their free time. WHEN I book a return trip to Namibia, it will definitely have to be with the both of them.
This definitely was my “best trip ever”. I want to write a detailed review of our trip this January. It was literally the BEST trip we have ever taken! I attribute this to our wonderful guide, Wolfugan, who I understand has worked with Gate 1 for 18 years. He met us, along with another couple at the Kilimanjaro Airport, and we opted to ride in his vehicle for the entire trip. Wolf’s knowledge of everything was extraordinary.
Thank you Gate 1 for offering a trip of a lifetime and for having such a caring and dedicated tour guide. I cannot wait to take part in another trip with Gate 1 and I am hopeful that the next tour director is as attentive as Belinda was. Our tour manager, Laurence, was absolutely outstanding.
Charl’s passion for his work, his country and his clients are apparent in his every sincere action. He not only is an excellent organizer and cohesive for our group, but also freely gives personal attention and care to each individual. For example, when we went on a wine tour and I don’t drink, he purchased a delightful non-alcoholic option for me and showed me around the grounds. He offered handicap options to a temporarily disabled fellow traveler at each destination with care and dignity. He imparts a wealth of information and knowledge about our destinations in a way that is interesting and humorous.

The animals were more spectacular than I even imagined. The peace and justice issues with Mandela’s history were very impactful. There was a lot of bus riding, but the countryside is diverse and beautiful. Our group was diverse but what a well-traveled knowledgeable and fun-loving group of travelers!!! Our guide, Anni, was totally amazing. She was decisive, proactive and left no stone unturned when a problem turned up.
Everything was very well organized and the stops and accommodations were very enjoyable. Gavin made suggestions for additional outings on some of our ” free days” and some of those ended up being some of the most memorable experiences. This was our first Gate one trip and if all of your tours end up being like this then I can see that we will be frequent schwinn electric bike customers. My Kenya trip was amazing.my daughter; granddaughter and I enjoyed the our trip guides. Marcus was our main guide and driver and was very knowledgeable about his home.
I just want to thank you for a wonderful experience. I had Jafar as my driver, and he was wonderful. Full of knowledge and a great personality. He had to put up with five mongoose excursion women every day.
We went for Kenya safari with Right Choice for 9 days covering Amboseli , Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. It was a dream come true trip for us. This was our first time in Africa and George ensure we had a memorable… We went on fantastic game drives with our guide, Bryson, and saw lions, zebras, rhinos, giraffes, and many other creatures. He knew a great deal about every animal we came across.
