Last year we locked in a 320 acre hunting lease in Northern Michigan for whitetail hunting. The lease has a mix of dense woods and clearings with minimal trails throughout the property. Last year we had access to an ATV which was perfect for traversing the property when we were hyper bicycles getting ready for hunting season and also a great way to transport hunters from our basecamp to their tree stand. My bf got mad at me for buying it, cuz he wanted to get him something else. My son likes this bike more than the one my bf got him 🤣 it sounds so realistic.
Some of the bikes sold at these stores aren’t suitable for upgrade. There are bikes I didn’t like, but I haven’t seen any that couldn’t be salvaged if given enough resources. The Pacific Evolution is a bike that was so far below my limited expectations that I still don’t think it’s worthy of any effort. But on a mountain bike, weight can really drag down the enjoyment. And I’ve come to appreciate the role they play in getting people into cycling.

The Back tire isn’t fitted in place correctly and is slightly too high up on the rear tire axle shaft. It appears to be tightened in place and secure by the nut screw, but it creeps me out a bit that if the nut were to unscrew a bit the tire would fly out….
For a product that would have cost the company a minimum of $10 to ship out, I did find it a bit frustrating that their customer service was so poor and we ended up having to pay for the replacement ourselves. As far as capability goes, the mountain bike itself is an easy rider and very comfortable to spend time on riding through the city or on trails. I’m by no means a diehard mountain bike rider, but I did find this bike to be very similar to entry level TREK that I used to have. Something to consider with this Ebike is that it is not operated by a throttle like some of the more expensive options on the market. The Hyper MTB Ebike offers pedal assistance, which means you will be an active participant in your ride.
It loses three points for the small defects and bad customer service from the manufacturer and seller. The bike gears and peddles are slightly stiff, but I am sure it will loosen up with a bit of oiling and riding. I would recommend this bike if you are on a budget and need basic transportation for getting around because it does the job and serves its purpose.
Since we have a specific purpose for wanting Ebikes, we were already narrowing down our potential options and some of the more budget friendly bikes on the market. I stumbled across Hyper while perusing the Walmart website and started to dig in on what they had to offer. Embark on a journey with our smart, sleek, and incredibly engaging children’s electric motorbikes. Use your 5mm hex key to adjust the screw at the top of the brake levers to rotate them around and set them in place. If your handlebars are on backwards this screw will be at the bottom of the brake lever. Make sure that they are comfortable and your wrists are not straining to use them.
