Overall, I think the Ozark Trail Family Tent offers plenty of space and is a great option for those seeking a comfortable and convenient camping experience. With a few adjustments and tweaks, it could easily become an even more reliable and waterproof option for your next outdoor adventure. Another slightly frustrating aspect was that it took quite a bit of time and patience to set up the tent correctly on my own. It took me around two hours to complete, which might have been quicker if I had someone else to help. Nonetheless, the tent did feel sturdy once it was set up, although one of the poles did break during the process, which was concerning. One of the standout features was the three separate rooms that could be used as sleeping areas or screened porches.
It was a nice size though and eventually got up with extra tape. Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. The screening and roof are all in excellent condition, along with all the poles, etc. With two more roof poles, I’m ozark trail canopy sure this could be prevented. Goes together well, but as soon as we got a little shower…. Total collapse, hubs (2) shattered and two sets of poles completely destroyed. Not sure if I should order replacement parts or not, maybe I should just consider this a waste of money, and cut my losses while I can. This tent is only $47 at Walmart, however that is not the point. The hubs on the tent and the construction of the design are worthless.
The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter. The rest of the process was funny too, with wimpy frizzy guylines, and inexplicable bits of plastic that are supposed to tighten them. There’s shade, and fewer bugs than outside the screenhouse. Will I come home and just find the screenhouse gone, or will I see it blowing around in the street, trailing pipe segments? For the moment, my dream of an extra room in the back yard has come true.
