Our car park might close at short notice during peak hours. Please be aware that you need to be prepared to make the decision to turn around if the car park looks busy, or is full, and come another time. Some of the more challenging obstacles include a 6ft wall climb, a rope, descend and cargo net crawl. Those looking for an easier option can tackle balance beams, water jumps and rope walks.
Open fairways and fast greens allow both novice and experienced golfers the opportunity to challenge and improve their games. Take a weekend hayride (or sleigh ride) through scenic farm and forest land along the Huron River. Annual Bag Tags and Daily Wristbands are available for purchase at the Kensington Metropark Office and the disc golf booth at the Black Locust course. Two competitive disc golf courses are located at Kensington Metropark.
Having not ridden Kent’s new e-bike (yet, but hopefully that changes), it’s hard for me to judge it too hard on the spec sheet alone. But for the $1,498 price, it’s at least an interesting addition to a slew of Walmart e-bikes that so far haven’t taken a shot at such higher-end (or perhaps even midlevel) markets. The bike is built on a steel frame and sports 20″ wheels. My 7-year-old nephew struggles to touch the ground while my nearly 9-year-old nephew fits on the bike easily. The fact that younger kids can’t fit on it is probably a good thing. Kids should be a certain age before they are mature enough to handle the extra power of an e-bike, even a low-power one like this.

Trail begins at the north park entrance and ends at Proud Lake State Recreation Area. Located at Martindale Beach, this playground has play features for kids ages 2-5 to 5-12. Playground features include climbing structures, slides, spinners and transfer stations. Equipment is on engineered wood fiber (wood mulch) safety surfacing.
Our activities are child led, meaning that you may have booked a Nature crown party for example and your child may then decide to make a den or play on the mud slide. Though you may have signed up for a certain activity with a certain end product, please be aware that your children may find something far more entertaining to do! No matter what they choose to do, we will ensure they are being safe and supervised during their activities. Once the basics are covered we will move onto some conventional game modes like; Team Deathmatch, Capture the Unicorn, King of the hill and Battlezone Battle Royale!
Our range is perfect for beginners and the distance and size of the bows will be set to suit the group ability. Parts of the Park, including the tarmac track and mountain bike trails, can be booked by third parties such as clubs and groups. The Black Locust disc golf course is located off a gravel lot across from the Martindale Beach parking lot.

Not wanting to give up my precious gym time, I bought two electric pedal-assist bikes. I chose the Kent Electric Mountain Bike 27.5” from Walmart kent electric bike for a couple of reasons. When I sold the CrossFit gym and moved to Gainesville, Georgia, I lost all of my MTB-riding friends, so my bike went into storage. This year, I introduced my wife Haley to some local beginner singletrack in our new town of Cleveland, Georgia, and she loved it.
It can be a good option for those that want the utility of an electric bicycle but don’t have a lot of spare cash. But while Walmart is known for its super cheap e-bikes, the company has never offered higher-end e-bikes with nicer features like kent hybrid bike mid-drive motors. At least, not until now with the launch of Kent’s new mid-drive electric bike. Now I ride mostly for recreation/activity (health), and when possible I commute. If they can swing it, I 100% recommend grabbing a second battery.
