Ideal for regular, routine cleaning as well as those messy accidents that simply happen in an active family home. 25 minutes of uninterrupted run time enables you to simultaneously vacuum, wash and dry multiple rooms and floor types in the average sized house. And to learn more about how I tested mop vacs, how they work, and which models didn’t make the shortlist, keep reading. Though the breadth of the brand’s offerings in the vacuum mop combo category can be a bit overwhelming (more on that later), I highly recommend two Tineco models at different price points.

Use the CrossWave’s improved edge cleaning to bissell crosswave cordless make your baseboards sparkle again. With a self-cleaning cycle that lets you just press a button and leave, and a 3-in-1 docking station for storage, cleaning, and charging, this vacuum has been designed for your optimum convenience.

Cleaning with my CrossWave is such a breeze that I regret not investing in one sooner. It swivels and glides with ease—maneuvering around furniture and corners takes almost no effort. I also love that you can switch from cleaning hard floors to rugs with a push of a button. Because the vacuum sucks up most of the liquid used to clean, the floor dries within a few minutes. Back in the old manual-mop days, most of the floors in my apartment took at least 15 minutes to air-dry, and the tile floor by the stove always stayed wet for at least half an hour. Its floorhead pivots, allowing you to maneuver around obstacles pretty easily.

I was impressed and surprised by how much dirt is picked up within the dirty water tank, and the convenience of this appliance makes it easier to perform quick cleanings on a more regular basis. Because a mop vac effectively and efficiently mops a floor while also sucking up dirt and debris, it cuts cleaning time in half. So if you have a substantial amount of flooring not covered by carpet, and you would like to spend less time cleaning those floors, a mop vac is for you. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max does an excellent job of handling pet hair on bare floors, though you might need to make an extra pass to clear away all of it on low-pile carpet. It can run for almost 40 minutes on a single charge, which should give you enough time to clean most rooms without running out of charge. It doesn’t offer any distinct suction power modes that would drain its battery any faster, though using its detergent dispersal function continuously might drop its runtime slightly.
