This still has a lot of life left in it and I would love to be able to fix it.
I was told to try and return it to the place I purchased it or wait the 4-6 weeks. Well I’m a camper and I intend to ozark trail canopy use this weekly. I bought two of these tents new last year from a yard sale. The were never opened by the seller.
You either need six people or twelve arms to hold the thing together when assembling. Then the screening doesn’t fit right over the frame. I am sorry that I ever purchased it. Hopefully I can ozark trail canopy find a replacement part. An absolute waste of money and time, and cost plenty of aggravation. I contacted Wal-Mart (1-800-WALMART) to see where I could get a replacement pole for the tent.
I loved the size of this screen house but after a few uses, the 4-way hub gable cracked and a couple of the curved roof poles bent a little. Step 2 – Install the PolesInsert the ends of each of the three roof poles into the 3-way hubs. Insert the four side roof poles into the 3-way hubs.
Then the instructions start to get really funny. ‘Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screenhouse frame’ got the first laugh. The “frame” barely stayed together on the ground. Any attempt to lift a corner and insert a leg pole resulted in pipes flying everywhere.
If anyone reading this review has any idea where I can purchase another one just like it, please contact me at If you have the manual ozark trail screen house and can scan it and e-mail me I would really appreciated it. I loved sitting outside and eat dinner in the screen house and mess it.
Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke. We are looking for these pieces if anyone wants to sell. We have a love-hate relationship with this screen tent.
Without instructions, it took me about 30 minutes to put it together and get it erected, by myself. Just had to comment after reading these old reviews of folks who couldn’t seem to set it up without either A. The Ozark Trail Screen House is 13 feet long and nine feet wide, with a standing space that tops out at seven feet high. The tent fabric roof provides shade for 46 square feet of the room. The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter. This model has been discontinued and I only need two parts to fix it.
I borrowed this screen tent and thought it was a pain to put up…the center hub broke forcing me to duck tape it to keep it together. The new types that go right up without connections are so much better. It was a nice size though and eventually got up with extra tape. We placed the screen house over a picnic table at the campsite and it did a fairly good job of keeping insects out while we were eating.
The screen is great for nice weather. It gives great shade and it keeps flies out. We used it to put it over a little swimming pool for our children and it works great. I called to get a replacement and the customer service person I talked to was awesome!
