Every single time I open this door, the zipper will snag at least once, sometimes twice, which can be annoying. The door does have a bug net, but it’s only for half the door, and not the full door. The holes are quite large, so I’m pretty sure that this is not no-see-um mesh. There are 2 windows along the length of the tent, and 1 window on the width of the tent. The entire Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent takes about 10 minutes to set up, when my brother and I were setting it up together (2 people).
The screen walls which you have here are double-layer structures, so you have panels plus mesh and you have a full protection from elements and from insects. The picture shows you that the screen room’s door is the double size and an inverted T-shape. The other two doors on the other rooms are normal size but also very tall. Ozark Trail 12-Person 3-Room Instant Cabin Tent with Screen Room is a nicely designed freestanding summer camping tent with a 2-minute setup and a steel frame.
The tent itself is nice and roomy, and boasts a 6-foot peak height to make changing clothes a drama-free endeavor. The Ozark Trail 9 Person Cabin shares the same shortcomings as the other discount cabins found in the Ozark Trail lineup, most notably being its weather protection and durability. As far as fairweather shelters go, however, this ozark trail canopy tent one may be the best value in terms of livability for your money. Note also that the packed size is not so impressive, but again, this is normal for instant camping tents that come with telescopic poles. All in all, you will need a car for the transportation of this tent. So you simply spread the tent and extend its telescopic poles.
All of them are double-layer structures with mesh and zippered panels for protection and privacy. Rating and Summary The Core Straight Wall Cabin Tent is an incredibly spacious tent. Its 10-person version has an impressive peak height of 90 inches, and I couldn’t even reach the top of the tent! (I’m 5’3″, ,by the way.) Another great thing about the Core Cabin Tent is that there are no obvious flaws…. It also has a nice high peak height of 88 inches, plus its side walls are vertical, so it offers a lot of livable space. The carry bag seems to be of okay quality, and it can be made bigger for easier packing up.
This Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has a packed size of 29 by 18 by 13 inches. For a size comparison, here’s what it looks like beside a Coleman 2-Person Sundome Tent, as well as a 32-ounce Nalgene ozark trail canopy tent bottle, and it weighs about 30 pounds for everything. The stitching especially around the doors and windows don’t seem that well done either, and I found a lot of excess threads as well.
