Stay cozy even on the coldest nights of your camping or hiking trips with the Everest Mummy Sleeping Bag, +5F/-15C Degree. The sleeping bag I now use is Ozark Trail. This sleeping bag I always sleep in @ night @ home because I like it better than a regular blanket. I even use it during the winter as well. I used this bag two nights last weekend and found it was too cold on its own—lowest temp was 51 degrees each of those nights.

Find the best sleeping bag/pad for your next outdoor adventure using our independent reviews and ratings. It is terribly heavy for backpacking and definitely not rated correctly. If you just can’t afford a better bag…DO NOT GO OUT IN COLD WEATHER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. The only way you would sleep well in this bag is if you are under 5’5″ and very slender and use it summer nights or maybe push it to early fall.

The zippers come along the whole length of the sleeping bag, ensuring you safety from insect bite or frost bite. This washable sleeping bag also has elastic roll-up straps that help you to fold and store it easily. We have stayed nicely warm while sleeping in the cold in this bag.
The bag uses Climatech fill, a down alternative, making it very light. The roomy bag, 33 inches wide by 75 inches long, rolls up to a compact ozark trail sleeping bag 14 by 8 inches. Made with soft polyester, the outer layer being a diamond ripstop material, the bag is both comfortable and durable.
Unfortunately the workmanship was more than a little upsetting, even for that price. However, I used this bag two nights last weekend and found it was too cold on its own—lowest temp was 51 degrees each of those nights. I was in a large ozark trail screen house tent (admittedly, a smaller tent would have been better) with one other person. I had to add a fleece sleeping bag for more insulation. I cannot believe that I wasted 160 dollars on some junk. I bought four sleeping bags for camping.
The zipper broke on my warm weather bag on the second night out. Too bad too because overall I’ve had good luck with Ozark Trail stuff. Too bad the buyer at Walmart has gone to sleep on quality control on this product. Browse Ozark Trail’s top-rated sleeping bags and pads and more.
I bought the zero degree bag and nearly froze to death. This is more like a 40 degree bag rating. Day one, night one…the zipper tore and cord in hood broke. Day 2 …it was closer to 6 degree and I froze…I had to hike into town, replace the bag. I could have gotten better quality from a teenager’s home ec project and lighter weight.
