I called to get a replacement and the customer service person I talked to was awesome! She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number for the part and sent it to me right away. We set it up one day, and by the next day or so it was down.
I was wondering if anyone out there can e-mail me the manual. The screening and roof are all in excellent condition, along with all the poles, etc. With two more roof poles, I’m sure this could be prevented. We placed the screen house over a picnic table at the campsite and it did a fairly good job of keeping insects out while we were eating. Next day delivery isn’t available on certain items during sales or promotions.
This product, when properly set up, is wonderful. I actually use mine in the yard in the areas where my trees don’t give shade. It’s starting to wear out and I’m looking to replace but can’t find one anywhere. Queen Bee has been one of my favorite pages to follow!
Also, one of the parts broke before using it one time. I have purchased outdoor sporting goods from Coleman and they not only have ozark trail canopy much better products, but they stand behind what they sell. This model has been discontinued and I only need two parts to fix it.
I bought two of these tents new last year from a yard sale. The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke.
Check the items delivery info at point of purchase. The Ozark Trail Screen House is 13 feet long and nine feet wide, with a standing space that tops out at seven feet high. Wasn’t even able to get the tent set up in a mild wind before one of the corner plastic parts broke. I purchased my tent a couple of years ago, but time passed and just got it out to put it up.
I am sorry that I ever purchased it. Hopefully I can find a replacement part. I contacted Wal-Mart (1-800-WALMART) to see where I could get a replacement pole for the tent. They are idiots and seemed like they didn’t want to help me by supplying me with the manufacturer’s phone number. The hubs break and the legpoles bend beyond repair. We love the size of the tent and we used it for a week with no problems. The second time ozark trail screen house we set it up one of the poles snapped and now I can’t find where I can get replacement poles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This is one of those products where the instructions are basically a complete fantasy. They make one false unstated assumption after another. And even then, they’re not simple. What you wind up with is a web of pipes and plastic pieces that falls apart at one end as you assemble the other.
Absolutely no offer to resolve the issue. Absolutely no apology for the poor quality of the ozark trail chairs product. Find something simple to set up, reliable, durable and with product support.
