Our cycle trails offer something for everyone, from beginners and families looking for a fun day out, to adrenalin junkies looking for a challenge. If you plan on arriving by car, a parking space must be purchased in advance along with your trail entry tickets online. To avoid overcrowding and ensure the enjoyment of all visitors on the illuminated trail you will need to select a time slot during the booking stage. Our car park might close at short notice during peak hours.

Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south inner roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. Single-lane Manhattan-bound north outer roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 pm to 5 am next morning and single-lane north inner roadway will be closed from 8 pm to 5 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate Structural Strengthening. Follow our 9km family cycle trail using shared use forest road or 13km of single-track for mountain-biking, there’s lots to explore around this 2000 acre forest.
The car park system is operated on behalf of Betteshanger Park by Park With Ease Limited. You can pay at any time during your visit or online at up to 48 hours after your visit. We operate a barrier-less admission kent bayside cruiser system which uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. You can enter Betteshanger on foot or by bicycle for free. There are no charges to use the cycle tracks, trails or the play area.
The course is designed to really put your guests through their paces, they’re likely to get muddy and very sweaty but they’re guaranteed to finish with big smiles on their faces. The party will start with a safety talk followed by a demonstration, each participant will be taught how to aim and shoot safely. Our instructors will organise teams and individual games, make sure everyone gets involved and ensure they all enjoy the kent electric bike competition. Our range is perfect for beginners and the distance and size of the bows will be set to suit the group ability. Session includes – safety briefing, tools, safety equipment and instruction on how to find fossils, all provided by our friendly staff. Once the basics are covered we will move onto some conventional game modes like; Team Deathmatch, Capture the Unicorn, King of the hill and Battlezone Battle Royale!
