Coleman Sundome 4 Person Tent for sale

We reached out to Coleman for more information and their advisor told us that their tents “don’t stop water but will stop UV”. So if you’re looking for a tent guaranteed to keep coleman instant tent you dry, the sundome 4 man model might not be the best choice. Festivals aren’t the safest campgrounds for your tent, so a low-cost, reliable model might be a good investment.

You can push the poles through the sleeves when doing both, it just adds time. The metal tips clipped to each corner were easy to insert into the base of the tent poles. The storage bags for the poles, stakes, and tent are all great. I like the make coleman ice chest of the storage bag, it is zippered instead of being made like a stuff sack with a draw string. With the zipper open it is easy to fit the tent, poles and stakes back inside. This is a decent 3-season tent, it’s not great, but it’s not bad either.

The 4-Person Sundome® Dome Camping Tent is ideal for camping in warm weather with large windows and a ground vent that help push warm air up and out to keep you comfortable. Enjoy superior weather protection thanks to an included rainfly, welded corners, and inverted seams to keep water from getting in. We tested the six-person version of the Coleman Sundome, which offers a healthy 10 feet x 10 feet of floor area. To gauge livability, we brought along two adults, a portable crib, and a dog, and found that the Sundome 6 provided more than enough room for summertime adventures.

Reading back through this review, I seem to view the tent in a negative light. It will be great for light to medium duty use, but is not a heavy duty camper. I did seal the seems when I bought it, a practice I do with all my tents. So, in the couple of rain storms I’ve experienced I haven’t any bad leaks.

The two gear pockets are placed awkwardly along the ends of the tent, where the bug mesh starts. You run the risk of hitting your head if there’s anything heavy in the pocket. There were three folks in the neighborhood park that could see me setting up the tent. The carry bag boasts a ten-minute setup, but it only took me a little over eight.

Although there might not be much extra space for fitting bigger families in, for a couple and one child this tent would be a great starter tent.
