Ozark Trail 40F Climatech Cool Weather Sleeping Bag As low as $ 9 0 UPC 885468101762

I’m so disappointed with this product that I advise anyone buying sleeping bags not to even look at Ozark and buy Coleman instead. I purchased this sleeping bag for warm weather camping trips at the local lake. For fifteen dollars I wasn’t expecting (or needing) anything that would stand up to freezing weather. Unfortunately the workmanship was more than a little upsetting, even for that price. We also found great deals on a couple of other sleeping bags!

We carry everything you need to make your next camping trip a sensation. Synthetic bags are much bulkier ozark trail screen house and so not recommended for backpacking. Thankfully, they can retain their warmth when wet.

The only way you would sleep well in this bag is if you are under 5’5″ and very slender and use it summer nights or maybe push it to early fall. A subreddit for campers concerned more about the act of camping and less concerned about hiking long distances or light gear. This bag is only rated to 30 degrees and may not be warm enough for some settings. Backpacking Light community posts are moderated and here to foster helpful and positive discussions about lightweight backpacking.

The zipper broke on my warm weather bag on the second night out. Too bad too because overall I’ve had good luck with Ozark Trail stuff. Too bad the buyer at Walmart has gone to sleep on quality control on this ozark trail sun shelter product. The sleeping bag I now use is Ozark Trail. This sleeping bag I always sleep in @ night @ home because I like it better than a regular blanket. Not only is it harsh to the touch, but noisy too.

I did a good bit of research before purchasing ours. Of course, I wanted something that would keep us warm. Mummy bags are very effective for keeping warm, but I am not comfortable in a confining bag. We bought two Ozark Trail 30-Degree Sleeping Bags. Ozark Trail sleeping bags maximize warmth and comfort even in extreme temperatures. They come with a water-repellent finish to keep them moisture-resistant for all backpacking and hiking trips.

After a long day of hiking in the woods, all you need is a good night’s sleep. That is only possible with the right sleeping bag. Well, s have got you covered. It has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors, be it an extended camping trip in the mountains with family or a solo day trip to a hiking trail.

Our sleeping bags zip together, allowing us to take advantage of the shared body heat. Pairing these strategies together made it reasonably comfortable at that temperature. The bag on its own is very comfortable down to the 30-degree range. With the return of the colder weather, it is time to pull out our winter sleeping bags. Shopping for sleeping bags is overwhelming.

The first night out it was less than 14 degrees F, and I had at least 50 nights under 40 degrees F. I can’t say I was warm, but I wasn’t shivering, freezing, or cold either, although I did wear 2 layers of clothing. I won’t ever buy an expensive sleeping bag after carrying this cheapo, unless I can find a cheap bag that weighs a lot less. A lightweight sleeping bag that offers extra length and extra warmth. This is only a 30-degree sleeping bag and may get cold on late fall or winter camping trips. One thing Coleman sleeping bags are known for is their price.

The bag uses Climatech fill, a down alternative, making it very light. The roomy bag, 33 inches wide by 75 inches long, rolls up to a compact 14 by 8 inches. Made with soft polyester, the outer layer being a diamond ripstop material, the bag is both comfortable and durable. The zippers are sturdy, with no problems in the two years we have used them.
