It’s still lower than many mountain bikes making it easier mongoose excursion to get on and off, especially on awkward spots on the trail. The up and down are mostly for adjusting the pedal assist levels up and down. Typically when a bike is in the “high-performance” category that might mean it runs a little pricier than it needs to.
